In the next step I was asked to upload a profile picture. I chose one in which I didn’t look like a sleep-deprived zombie, which is quite hard to find, and continued.
Oh, here’s one little tip in regards to your profile picture:
You are a white man who wants to meet black women online. You are not Lil Wayne and you are not Kanye West. Don’t even think about wearing a golden necklace and in case you have ordered grillz, you can already open your bin.
The women you find on Interracial dating sites are black women looking for white men to date. They want you because you are different. Don’t even try to “be black” on your picture. I’m just saying.
Filling Out My Profile and Contacting the Ladies
After I signed up, I spent a couple of minutes on my profile. I didn’t write a novel, but enough to show the beautiful women I wanted to contact that I am a normal white guy who is looking for a normal black woman.
I was honest, I was authentic and you should do the same.
Don’t pretend to be someone you are not. Sooner or later she will find out that you can’t dance like Chris Brown.
I mean, I didn’t even put that much work into my profile. As you can see, I only filled out 58% before I started to contact the first black female member.

I tried it. I really did. I tried to turn these ladies from the dark side to the white side. It didn’t work. I didn’t receive any interest and only two nice messages (thanks Josie and Tatjana!). Oh, and I got one message from a girl who complained that I am not black.

The perfect first message should show two things:
1. You are really interested in her and not just her blackness.

As long as you communicate these two things, you have already won. That means no racial innuendos and no misleading compliment. Black women love when a white guy compliments their hair (they are very cautious about that), but some men take it one step too far.
